Christian Aid Thanks - A BIG WELL DONE!

The Church of Over, St Chad's - Winsford suppoted the 'Christian Aid Week' 15th - 21st May 2011.

The list of activities for the fundraising were as follows:

Christian Aid envelopes
Delivered to all households in the parish.

Saturday 21st May - 7.30pm
Concert performed by the Sandbach Ladies Choir.
Tickets will cost £3.00 each, and includes refreshments.
This will be held at St Chad's church.

Sunday 22nd May - 5.30pm - 7.30pm
Young Peoples of St Chad's ("J Club" & "NXT Generation") ran a  'Sponsored Car Wash'.
Refreshents were made available whilst you waited!!!
This was held at the Church Hall on Gladstone Street.

The Outcome
A BIG BIG Thank You to everyone for supporting all the many Christian Aid activities held by St. Chad’s Parish on behalf of Christian Aid last week. So far £332.00 has been put in the bank and this figure is still rising as further donations and sponsorship monies are being received.

News just in (9th June 2011) - a wopping £1200 was raised now that all donations and sponsorships have been counted and verified.
